Yikes...I think it's time for the Lynx GM to make some cuts and sign some free agents. :|

Yeah, Storm have attempted nearly double the amount of FTs we have. I mean, really?

But yeah, Seattle's commentators are soooo annoying especially that guy. I'm sure the Seattle fans love em, but they are way too homer-ish, and some of their comments after certain plays bordered on insulting.

I am really not liking the refs calling in this game.

Also, the commentators.

Thanks, richardrob... very much. I'm grateful to you for your consideration. Thank you.

But I hear that Lisa Leslie just went down with a knee injury in the Phoenix Mercury game with Diana Taurasi. You may find a eager audience there, my friend.

Sure. I held off writing about until now even though I was very angry at seeing Taurasi do the same thing to Katie Smith and Plenette Pierson. I don't want Seimone or her fans to suffer any more. I think players who do that to other players are reprehensible. It's not out of my system yet but I'll try not to talk about it now like you asked.

Hey, richardrob... the Lynx fans here have been through a lot since Wednesday with Seimone Augustus' injury... and we're going through a lot trying to watch our team play without one of our brightest stars.

Please don't add to our agony and anxiousness. Let it go, please.

If someone intentionally fouls you and tears your anterior cruciate ligament I think you should be able to sue them for $3.2 million and win like Rudy Tomjonavich did in 1980 when he sued the LA Lakers. There is no excuse for intentionally hurting a player like that. Kermit Washington was banned from basketball for hurting Tomjonavich. I feel really bad for Seimone. She seems like such a cool person who never cases problems and leads by example with her outstanding talent. Am I wrong or did they take down the threads on this topic? How about some free speech? People are really sad about Seimone's injury and angry.

I'm pulling for the "W", lynxfan89. I still believe.

Being completely honest, I'll declare a symbolic victory if we only lose by less than 15 points...lol.

But that's a combination of the events of the last few days and Seattle just being a tough matchup for us anyway.
I'm gonna give the Lynx a few weeks before I make any calls.

I *really* hope a few players step up and have good games tonight, win or lose.

Cash here, reporting for game night. I hope all the ugliness is over and done with. I ain't into that and I won't participate in it, BUT I do love basketball. And I'll talk basketball with all ya'll.

So.......did you all see the interview piece with Wiggins and Gillom? Candice is stepping up and I hope she does. I hope that she is the match that starts the fire tonight, BABY!!!! Light em up Candice. Someone has to now that we know the report on Seimone. Fans everywhere are going to miss you Seimone.

The girls are going to have their hands full with the Storm squad as we have seen in their first matchup. Every member of the team is going to have to contribute in order to compete. (But please no more 3's from Christi Thomas. Bricks I'm tellin' ya, bricks.) lol I don't know if they are going to be allowed to drive into the lane like they did against the Mercs. But we REALLY are going to have to do something about the rebounding. Gee, even Phx out-rebounded us. Everyone is standing around on the outside and not advancing to the basket for the rebound. And how many times the other night did I have to yell at the screen for them to go after the loose ball?!? They are just standing around too much. And I know that they didn't have many assists the other night. There won't be the way they were giving the ball to Charde or Nicky to make plays. I believe it was a good game plan, and they would have been able to open up the outside shot for Seimone had she not been injured, or anyone really had they stepped up. Okay, I've got all that out of my system.

I really wished that the Lynx team in games 1 and 2 would show up tonight. THEY were a sight to behold, a thing of beauty, poetry in motion.....need I go on? lol

Let's go Lynx!!! Good or bad, win or lose--bring on the Storm!!!
